Boosters Club
04/30/16 7:22 PM

The gal that runs the Boosters Club for Champion Raceway in Oregon, has made Identifiers for all the racers running for points . The Sheets will be posted at the track with points to date under each one. The idea is to get teh fans familiar with teh racers..

Do the little ones come out to see Great Grandpa blast down the strip?

I look at the stuff available today and just shake my head.. I really miss the old racing we use to do, especially on motorcycles.. No auto shifts, slider clutches, line locks, wheelie bars . I guess that is why I want to go to an Oklahoma race. There are enough classes at an all mc event that we can actually race motorcycles :) I am really looking forward to at least one event this year that is not putting 8 second bikes against 15 second bikes.
But dont get me wrong, the guys turning 8 seconds and faster deserve every bit of respect they get. Stuff is happening so fast that I cannot imagine the rush.. and the effort into insuring everything is correct is huge.. My hat is definitely off to them.

Danno, the great Grandkids are still pretty young, the oldest is almost three. The grandkids that are near have gone to the races with me for sure. My youngest daughter is my biggest fan and most of the pics I post on FB are hers.
This is one she took at Sonoma Raceway..
